COMPETITION DAYS
- A Text message sent to members on timesheet and note is placed on timesheet at first inspection advising of delay and time of next update.
- Member’s responsibility to check timesheet for further updates and are requested to remove name if you no longer intend to play.
- If conditions do not improve update notice will be issued confirming competition cancelled and if course open for casual golf.
- Pro-shop will endeavour to get everyone out on course not necessarily the first hole as follows:
- Start 7am, frost delay, new start 8am.
- 8am Normal tee time group play from 1st,
- 2 delayed groups go to the 2nd – 1st group drive and are ready in the middle of the fairway to start at 8am.
- 2 groups go to the 3rd – same as above
- Remaining groups go to next hole open, 1 group on par 3’s.
- All start playing at 8am – Reduced Shotgun Start
- Depending on the length of the delay and time of the year it may be necessary to cancel the competition and play casual golf.
- As each group finishes on 18th they slot in on the first, play the one, two or three holes left and leave the course. Pro Shop to notify players that groups will be slotting in – this will cause a small delay but will reduce as each group completes their round.
- The above may not be possible during two tee starts (Mid Winter)
- A Society/Groups will be impacted the same as playing members
- Every effort will be made to facilitate members during frost delays. Competition Committees will agree with Pro Shop any changes to competition. Members are asked to assist the Pro Shop staff in arranging the above Reduced Shotgun Start.
- All members need to check in Pro-Shop to be advised of course information.
- The time-sheet will be updated to advise the holes that are in play.
- White Board contains the relevant course information pertaining to the day.
- If your Tee Time has been missed due to closure the Pro-Shop will facilitate at the next available Tee Time, taking into account instructions from Course Staff on what holes are open.
- A Society/Groups will be impacted the same as playing members
- If members have been advised that particular holes are closed, members should not play these holes
